Steering Wheel - Alias (SubD)

This steering wheel was created using subdivision modeling in Alias, beginning as a single piece before evolving into multiple components for greater detail and complexity. The thumb wheels were crafted with NURBS, highlighting the benefits of integrating NURBS within Alias's subdivision workflow. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of exploring and incorporating features from various steering wheel designs, which added both functionality and aesthetics to my creation. This project not only enhanced my skills but also deepened my appreciation for subdivision modeling, demonstrating its versatility and power in 3D design.
